The Chrysler Corporation never envisioned anything like this Plymouth Street Rod in post-war 1948. The builder of this coupe created a one-off MOPAR super-classic that is stunning and built to run. The stunning body, in Viper Red/Mercedes Silver, is a work of art. Paintwork is outstanding and doors/trunk have shaved handles (equipped with poppers). Front and rear lights have been “frenched” and all chrome trim and bumpers are excellent. The interior is finished in grey leather and is top-shelf. TA classic ’40s dash holds a set of old-school Autometer gauges. Comfort and convenience features include cold A/C, power seats, custom console, power tinted-windows, tilt leather wheel, popper keyless entry and Dual Electronics AM/FM stereo system with CD/USB/MP3/WMA player. The 350ci Chevy crate motor looks like a factory installation. It is equipped with an Edelbrock intake system, and HEI distributor. The small-block is mated with a GM 700R4 automatic gearbox and 9” Ford differential w/street gearing. American Racing 17” chrome alloys mount performance radials.
